Elements

I'm wondering what connection people may have to the elements, and the association to their dreams  It seems that most of my dreams involve water of some shape or form.  I'm very interested in why this may be.  Hoping to find some extra time to read more about recurring dreams and their meaning.

  1. Some may say that to dream of water denotes a sense of creativity and an abundance of life..? But I guess it depends on the context of the dream. You probably don't think that dreaming of a nasty flood would imply life.
Or maybe it would. Have you ever had a strange dream that made you feel happy even though, when you woke up and recalled it, there was really nothing particularly happy about it? Maybe, when you dream of these elements, try to consider what feelings or emotions are stirred inside of you; it may help in deciphering your dreams.
Obviously, finding meaning in dreams is a very personal endeavor and no one can tell you exactly what everything means. I hope this helped a bit, though. :) Good luck!

  2. I have also heard this. mostly these recurring dreams although they very in context seem to leave me confused or worried, as in my waking life as well... have had my fair share of struggle. maybe only in my dreams will i have a creative abundant life.

  3. The water element translates to emotions. A pretty basic element translation is here:

    Earth: Groundedness, roots/ancient/past/family, physical life
    Water: Emotions
    Fire: Passion, creativity, desires, yearning
Air: Thoughts, logical, anylytical/problem solving side, communication/other dimensions

Depending on other contexts inside of the dream you can interpert a basic understanding and delve deeper. For instance, if you are joyfully swimming through the water, gliding gracefully it would represent that whatever problems your concious is struggling with, you are going to ease through in the emotional aspects of this problem. At the same time, drowning could indicate that your subconsious is unable to breathe from the strength of the emotions you have yet to sort though. etc.

You can message me if you want more specific help :)

    1. This makes a lot of sense to me. I struggle with my emotions almost daily. So that fits right in.
      Thanks for the comment.
